PANEL: Data Science and Algorithms-as-a-Service

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

If software is eating the world, algorithms are absorbing the world. Algorithms are at the core of data science and analytics, but are often obfuscated by the technologies built around them. Improving data science means more data, better algorithms, and better data scientists. Do we need more algorithms, how do we find the best algorithms for the job, and what is the maturity of the algorithms-as-a-service industry compared to analysis-as-a-service or data-as-a-service? Who is really innovating "making algorithms accessible"?
